Brandy W. Anderson is a compassionate and dedicated leader in the field of addiction recovery, driven by a heartfelt mission to create a revolutionary recovery movement. Since 2011, she has leveraged both her professional expertise and her personal journey to guide others toward a healthier future. As someone who has been in recovery since 2009, Brandy brings invaluable firsthand insight and empathy to her work.
A Magna Cum Laude graduate of the University of North Georgia, Brandy earned her Master's in Human Services Delivery and Administration in 2020. Her extensive credentials include being a Certified Masters Addiction Counselor (CMAC) and a Certified Peer Specialist (CPS-AD), along with holding a National Certification in Addiction Counseling (NCAC I) and a Georgia Certified Addiction Counseling (CAC II). Additionally, she is currently pursuing a second Master's degree in the Professional Masters of Business Administration (PMBA) at the University of Georgia.

In 2015, she realized her dream of opening the Acceptance Recovery Center, where she serves as the founder and CEO. Her commitment to the community extends beyond her organization, as she has also volunteered her time on the boards of Athens Recovery Fest, Athens Pride, and the National Alliance of Recovery Residences. When she's not leading these initiatives, Brandy is a loving mother to her adopted daughter, Aaliyah Reign, whom she is raising to be a strong female leader.
