Description

Just like in recovery, it makes sense to create and operate recovery residences in community. New Earth Recovery and Truly Motivated Transitional Living in Washington State have formed a cooperative relationship that benefits both organizations. The two nonprofit boards, executive directors, and staff are in regular contact sharing policies, staff development activities, and best practice collaboration. This session will describe the collaboration and highlight the advantages of operating residences in a connected way.

-Understand the advantages of formal and informal collaborations between recovery residence operators;
-Imagine how their own organizations could form collaborations with others
