nCarmin Long is the Executive Director and co-founder of Truly Motivated Transitional Living in Yelm, WA
and serves as the Vice Chair of the Washington Alliance for Quality Recovery Residences.
Her own recovery journey began at Clean & Sober Transitional Living in Sacramento twenty-three years
ago and she has eighteen years’ experience in operating recovery homes. She is a trained Genesis
Process counselor and has received awards from the Department of Corrections and Behavioral Health
Resources for her contributions to the recovery field. She is passionate about seeing people recover to
their true self and creating space and programs that foster that.
She enjoys serving at her church and in her community and her personal interests include hiking,
gardening, fitness and motorcycle riding with er husband Chris, they share four adult children and two
grandchildren.
