Nic Cochran is on the board of directors of the West Virginia Restorative Justice Project. He is currently the Director of Youth Services System – Recovery Homes in Wheeling, where he serves on the treatment teams for the federal and state courts. Nic holds an MSW from Ohio University, where he graduated in May 2025 and a Bachelor of in Psychology from Wheeling Jesuit University. Nic began practicing Restorative Justice in 2015 when he served as a resident minister at WJU. From there he began using talking circles at the House of Hagar Catholic Worker community to resolve conflict among neighbors. He currently uses Restorative Justice in the Recovery Homes he oversees to resolve conflicts, build community and inform policy development. In his free time, Nic is a horticulture enthusiast and proud cat dad of two.
