Description

Attendees will be introduced to the basics of Restorative Justice. From there, a familiar scenario to recovery residence operations will be presented and analyzed through a restorative lens. Attendees will assist in developing hypothetical resident profiles. Finally, all attendees will participate in a talking circle to experience one of the most common practices of Restorative Justice.

Objectives
By the end of the session attendees will know: 1) what Restorative Justice is, 2) how Restorative Justice can work in Recovery Residences, and 3) what a specific Restorative Justice practice looks like in a Recovery Residence
