Description

NARR Level 4 residences combine social model support and programmatic services, and include clinical programming as a component. This panel will explore how different Level 4 programs are designed and operated, including an overview of the increasing variety of services provided by organizations operating Level 4 residences. They will also discuss some of the regulatory and definitional challenges faced by many Level 4 providers. Finally, the panelists will address how the integration of NARR levels into the new ASAM Criteria could affect Level 4 residences.

Learning objectives

Objectives
This workshop will help providers think more expansively about integrating basic treatment and recovery support services with other types of services needed by recovering individuals.
Participants will be able to respond to state and local government challenges to the operation of Level 4 residences in light of the new ASAM Criteria.
Providers will obtain insights about how to improve their own programs in terms of breadth of service and more effective linkages with other providers.
