Meet Our Hosts...

The Virginia Association of Recovery Residences

As Virginia’s only NARR-accredited body, the Virginia Association of Recovery Residences monitors, evaluates, and improves standards to build the highest quality for recovery residences--so that all Virginians have timely access to effective recovery support services.

VARR members provide the highest level of service to their residents and clients throughout Virginia. Members have been accredited through VARR’s rigorous screening process using the NARR Standard, thus ensuring top-notch services. VARR also presents a collaborative voice for recovery residences throughout our Commonwealth and works to ensure that everyone in recovery is able to access recovery housing that offers quality programming for all residents.

Our Supporters . . .

Virginia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services

NARR would also like to extend a special thank you to the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Services(DBHDS), and specifically the Office of Recovery Services(ORS) for their support in making this year’s conference possible. Virginia’s ORS Team consists of Alethea Lambert, Tiffani Wells, Sherea Ryan and others.

DBHDS' Office of Recovery Services has supported NARR’s state affiliate in Virginia for multiple years. Through their support, they have been a champion of their belief that recovery, resiliency and self-advocacy are the foundations of system transformation.

We thank DBHDS and the Office of Recovery Services for giving us the opportunity to put on this event. We hope our education and networking continues to foster and grow allies as dedicated as you to people in recovery, and recovery housing. Thank you for making us so much better together!
