Description
This session will focus on the layers of oppression underpinning biases and racism that impact the quality and authenticity of servies offered. The presenter will encourage dialogue around the urgency essential to racial equity, and provide a critical lens to approach addressing identity-based oppression.
Objectives
1. A multi-level examination of racism, and the consequences on racism across levels.
2. Understanding biases and the impact on service providing.
3. Engage with solution-focused approaches to addressing cultural imperialism.
