Alon Fisch (MRSS/CRPR) is the Founder and Executive Director of New Beginning Sanctuary (NBS), a faith based nonprofit sober living program for men and women. NBS serves over 320 NARR certified sober living beds in Springfield and Joplin, Kansas City and Branson. Along with sober housing, Simmering Center. Having spent most of his life working in Sales Management and Finance, and not in recovery himself, Mr. Fisch’s entrepreneurial spirit brings a unique perspective his recovery support housing. Overseeing the day-to-day business activities of respite care, Mr. Fisch adapted strategies, practices and processes to this model for the recovery continuum that allowed the respite care to thrive. Overcoming budget challenges and restrictions, staffing challenges, and overall changes in business trends in a rural Missouri. Mr. Fisch is also the Secretary on the Board of Directors for the Missouri Coalition of Recovery Support, the Vice President on the board of the Recovery Coalition of the Ozarks, President of the Missouri Continuing Education Consortium. He also serves on the MCRSP Recovery Housing   Task Force and was instrumental in getting Missouri to adopt NARR (National Alliance of Recovery Residence) standards throughout the State for safe and ethical sober housing.
