Peter Maney is the Recovery Residence Project Director at the Native American Development Corporation (NADC) in Montana. With over 20 years of experience in operations and program development, Peter now leads initiatives to support individuals recovering from substance use disorders, with a focus on Native American communities. He oversees the Recovery Residence Alliance of Montana (RRAM) and the Red Road Recovery Housing Program.
Peter's passion for this work stems from his own long-term recovery journey, which began on September 14, 2017. He holds a background in psychology and chemical dependency counseling, and serves on several state and national committees related to behavioral health, criminal justice reform, and reentry support.
Prior to joining NADC, Peter held leadership positions in various industries, including addiction recovery programs and retail development. He combines his professional expertise with a deep personal commitment to creating culturally responsive, trauma-informed support systems for individuals and communities in recovery.
