Destiny Burge is from Monroe, LA. She moved to Arkansas at the age of 12 where she was homeschooled and enjoyed playing soccer. She began her recovery journey on March 26, 2019, and is deeply committed to a Twelve-Step fellowship, participating in sponsorship, actively working the 12-steps, and engaging in service work at the group, area, and regional levels.

Destiny is the Peer Support Program Coordinator at the Wolfe Street Foundation in Little Rock, AR. Her career as a Peer Recovery Support Specialist at Wolfe Street began in May of 2022, she has since gone on to become a Peer Recovery Peer Supervisor in Training. She quickly found purpose and meaning for her past and present experience as a woman in long-term recovery through the work she does and the communities she is serving as a Peer Support Specialist.
