Description

The BC-ROC scholarship is a 60-day rental subsidy for use in designated Recovery Homes within Bucks County. A scholarship recipient will be provided with 30 days of their rent paid in full, and upon completion of those 30 days, the Recovery House owner can resubmit for an additional 30 days of funding, which is then covered at 50%. The program is overseen by a Recovery Housing Coordinator who reviews referrals and applications, develops Recovery Housing availability, and ensures completion of all required program activities. The goal is for the participant to obtain employment and pay their own rent within 2 months of admission to Recovery Housing, while the funding provides them with an opportunity to gain a firm foundation upon which their recovery can thrive without having the overbearing concern of financial stress.
