Kaitlin Waggoner has been working in the behavioral healthcare field for over 8 years. She obtained a bachelor’s in Substance Abuse Counseling from the University of Cincinnati and is a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDCIII). She has worked in a variety of addiction and mental health settings with an emphasis on treatment, criminal justice, vocational supports, and housing. Ms. Waggoner managed over 10 million dollars of the State Opiate Response (SOR) funding that covered a wide variety of projects and training initiatives. In her tenure with the Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services she has served as the State’s Opiate Coordinator and is currently working as the Recovery Housing Administrator. Ms. Waggoner has a special interest in advocating for person centered services and supports as an individual with lived experience herself.
