Speaker Bio
Kacey Long, MSW (she/her) has worked within the field of sexual violence since 2012 within sexual assault centers, research institutions, state agencies, and within the child welfare system. She works at The Army of Surivors (a national organization responding to sexual violence within sport) as the Director of Programs. Kacey has worked alongside global human trafficking researchers and led projects on the intersections of sexual violence and LGBTQIA2S+ populations. She has served as a member on Georgia's Statewide Human Trafficking Task Force and as a board member of several local nonprofits. Kacey is the co-chair of North Georgia Sex Trafficking Awareness & Response Task Force and chair’s the Survivor Advocacy Subcomittee. Her background consists of community education, outreach, and conducting research to create federal, state, and local policies. Kacey holds a Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. She is an avid women's soccer fan and enjoys playing in recreation leagues in her free time.
